My wedding dress is here. I can hardly believe it. Since I brought it home I have tried it on approximately 14,923 times. It is so beautiful I just can’t stand it. I would post a picture but ya know…can’t let Wesley see it!

The girls are in the process of ordering their dresses and everything is just coming along.

I can’t even believe it…in like 4 months I am getting married. YAY!!!! :)

Bridesmaids Dresses!!!

I have finally decided on a bridesmaid dress! It is super exciting…Here is a picture of the dress but keep in mind it will be in yellow (their new color sunbeam!):

It is beautiful! the flower accents at the top are just gorgeous. Now it is time to let all 9 bridesmaids know and get them ordered - pronto! hooray!!!!!

Ok so we have finally made some progress…

We have chosen a photographer. We will be using Kingdom Kaptivated Photography with friend Kelsey McNeely. She was VERY budget friendly and her work is gorgeous. Thank you to Miranda Lynn for the great idea! I am so excited about this. (and I will get my CD haha) Now I just have to find a time in my busy schedule to meet with her and figure out all the details. I cannot tell you how happy I am to finally have this detail complete.

Today we are meeting with the lady who will be making our wedding cake. I know I already posted a picture but now it is actually becoming a reality! I can’t wait to see how it turns out. As for the grooms cake…I have picked one out. Wesley said he did not care but he wanted something chocolate. So I have picked out absolutely the best one! It is going to be a surprise for him though :)

I am still currently working on decor ideas…so if you have any pictures of something you think is cute please feel free to share! I’ll keep you updated on that when I get anything else done haha.

The deposit for our DJ has been paid! We are using family friend Jeff Fitzpatrick, and I know he will do an awesome job. My mom and I went and looked at his display when it was all set up for an event and it is going to be absolutely wonderful…he has awesome lights and the dance floor is going to be SOOOO fun!

Wow. So so long since I have updated this. My computer is FINALLY working again :) So I wanted to give a quick update on how plans are going.

First off, still no photographer decided officially yet. My future brother-in-law Alex Lisic will be taking our engagement pictures (hopefully soon!!) and my bridal pictures, but considering he is in the ceremony it would be really difficult for him to do the ceremony and reception pictures haha. I have had a few estimates given. My problem is that I am picky. Imagine that. I want someone cheap enough that it doesnt take up my whole budget but I definitely want good quality. Also I want a CD of my pictures not just a certain amount of shots I can pick. I mean, they are my pictures, you know? Not to sound like a bridezilla but that is definitely something I am looking for as I try to choose. I’ll let you know as soon as I make a final decision!

Also, the caterers have come back with an estimate and with a little rearranging and planning that looks as though it is going to be fine :) We are using Grade-A Catering and they have been SO nice and helpful. And their food is great. We are not doing a full dinner, just hors d’oeuvres. I am getting pumped!

I just have SOOOOO many decisions to make! There is a ton to do, but it is all really fun! Hopefully we can do engagement photos soon and I can post some as well as finish our wedding website. I am definitely gonna try to keep this updated much more frequently ha :)

Oh and P.S. This is not very new news but I did get my wedding shoes as a Christmas present this past year…for those of you who don’t know, I am wearing glitter TOMS!!! They are precious.

I know it has been so long since I posted something. So today I found a picture of the PERFECT cake online…only it was in the wrong colors. So this is the cake I like. I want the cake icing in yellow and the swirls in gray. And as soon as I saw it I knew this one was perfect! Now all I have to do is find someone to make it…

Little Things

So far, the little things are the main things getting accomplished in the plans. With school and work and just life in general, let’s just say things have been hectic! We have (and when I say we, I may mean I…haha) chosen our colors though. Which to me is very exciting!

They are super cute! We have also chosen daisies as our primary flowers :)

I am so excited for the plans we have already come up with. These little things may seem so small but yet they are so important and are one step closer to “I do.”
